Non profit organization PhotoART Centrum is based in Košice, Slovakia. Based on the ambition of its members to work for the move up of culture in east Slovakia with the main goal on photography and photographic art. We want to work widely and in the long term basis and help to create in Košice the important european center of art.
We are aimed at: - realization of own art projects on regional and european level - support of international cooperations (exchange, stays, residentials, workshops, exhibitions, lectures) - gallery - aimed mainly at european and slovak/czech works - exhibitions - we have organized for example the exhibition World Press Photo 2012 in Košice - own art works and projects - art projects with priority audiencies The site is now in re-construction, we are sorry... |
